these twin cakes were for two couples whose 25th wedding anniversaries were on the same exact day: my parent’s and a family friend’s. both she and i planned separate events for our parents as well as a zoom call and drive by with all of our mutual friends and families.
the cakes are simple both in decoration and in theme, and evoke a soft, pastel feel. the silver blue is meant to pay homage to the silver jubilee of a 25th wedding anniversary. one cake is addressed to the family friends, and one cake is addressed to my parents (so it says amma and nanna, meaning mom and dad respectively).
